Malachi Threadgill

Research Director, Account-Based Marketing

Malachi is a practitioner with nearly 20 years of experience developing and implementing marketing strategies for telecommunications and software-as-a-service organizations.

His primary focus for the last half decade has been leading marketing transformation efforts for Masergy, a global networking, UCaaS and managed security organization. In this role, Malachi was responsible for augmenting the marketing strategies to align with a shifting sales model to diversify and drive direct and indirect business. He also led demand generation and developed Masergy’s account-based marketing (ABM) and business development rep programs. These programs helped align sales, operations and marketing, ultimately resulting in a 200% increase in marketing-attributed monthly recurring revenue year over year, 85% accuracy of bookings within the total addressable market, and a 54% lift in win rate on accounts in Masergy’s ABM programs.

Malachi represented Masergy in winning ABM Program of the Year at SiriusDecisions Summit 2018 and has been a regular on the marketing speaking circuit for the last four years. He joined SiriusDecisions’ customer advisory board for ABM in 2018.

Malachi received a BS in business administration from the University of Texas at Dallas, where he focused his studies on marketing, entrepreneurship and international business.
